May 9th – Site Scrape and Level to Block and damage to Fence noted
May 30th – Concrete Slab laid
June 6th – Timber and waterproof shield laid
June 14th – First floor timber frame erected
June 20th – Upper floor timber frame and Roof trusses installed
June 27th – Upper floor Roof and Plumbing installed
July 12th – Installation of Windows and external doors, gas lines and plumbing
July 21st – More wiring and plumbing services,waste and air con rough-ins
July 28th – Insulation, Cornerless window, Cavity sliders in WIL installed, more pallets of bricks and plasterboard arrive
July 31st – Plasterboard walls internally is complete and Bricks are ready to lay
August 3rd – Bricks to lower level and Cornice installed
August 10th – Brick Window Sills complete and piers are half complete. Scaffolding erected for external cladding and cedar ceiling arrived on site.
August 19th – Waterproofing wet areas and cabinetry installed to kitchen/bath/laundry. Bricks to lower storey completed except for top of front piers. Cladding and cedar roof installation in progress.
August 21st – Walk through with Site Supervisor. Cedar installation incorrect. Profile facing inwards not outwards. Skirting and Architraves in progress.
August 27th – Upstairs cladding completed and painted. Piers completed. Flashing done on roofing. Preparation of Tiling and awaiting delivery of stone benches. Requested Cedar Sales installation to be reinstalled correctly. Site location for shed and Clothes line confirmed. Landscape design provided by Ted Maguire of Camouflage Landscape Designs.
August 30th – Benchtops installed to cabinets.Tiling to wet areas, floors and splashbacks complete. Balcony in progress of tiling. Garage door installed but not wired up. Locks fitted. One incorrect! House is now Locked up. Most furniture purchased, some waiting for delivery.
September 2nd – Lamps and Kitchen items Purchased. Prep for rendering around front windows completed.
September 9th – Request to change Powder room cabinet to Vanity cupboard as per plan. Advice that painter will commence and take 10 days. The cedar ceiling and front panel will be replaced. The incorrect lock on internal hall is only temporary. Tiling is complete. Question re tiling taken to edge in powder room and bathroom. Rendering to take place this week.
September 19th – Rendering complete and Painting in Progress Paths around house completed.
September 25th – Plumbing fittings installed in all bathrooms; Electrician on site fitting fans and lights. Pendant lights installed over island bench and in lounge. Powder room cabinet removed and replaced.
September 27th – Shelving completed in Wardrobes and Walk ins. Sudden realization that bedside cabinets are too wide.
October 2019 – Practical Completion
October 5th – All cupboard shelving and internal caulking complete
October 9th – Carpet laid and First clean
October 10th – Question mark re NBN lead in from kerb?
October 11th – Cedar Sales installed; Mirror and Shower Screens installed; A/C in place. Yard scraped and QA completed. Rendering and soffit patched.
October 21st – Practical completion Day NBN box installed.
October 20th – Landscaping retaining wall proposed
October 21st – QA check
October 23rd – Letterbox and Clothes line installed
October 30th – Fencing, turf and landscaping completed
November 4 – Proposed handover Day deferred
November 6 – Tiling missed in Ensuite completed
November 6 – Letterbox painted, lock installed on internal door
